Shibori Habotai Silk Scarf Made to Order - Diamond Explosion

Lightweight Habotai Silk Scarf dyed using the itajime shibori technique, which involves tying and clamping objects onto the fabric so that they create a pattern of resistance to the dye. 

The scarf in the photos was dyed using a sapphire blue acid dye on a white scarf. The photo represents an example only. You will receive a unique scarf that is similar to the one pictured here, but not exactly the same.

This scarf can be ordered in any color, or a combination of colors.

I will do my best to get as close as possible to the color, but also, by purchasing this custom order, you acknowledge that the process of hand-dying has irregularities and that is part of the beauty of it!

These scarves can be hand-washed in cold water with a gentle laundry soap or color-safe hair shampoo. There is no need to dry clean. It can be dry-cleaned, though, if that is your preference.
