This silk scarf (72 inches long by 6 inches wide) features an abstract design in deep red, orange and black printed on heavyweight, shiny, silk charmeuse. It feels super luxurious and drapes beautifully!
This design is part of my "Fire Waves" series, which were born from a photograph of a real campfire. I played with the fire image and digitally transformed it into a series of abstract designs. I call this one "Lava." There is only one of these, and I will not be repeating this design in this exact same way, so it's a one-of-a-kind silk scarf.
The silk was printed and steam set with permanent dye inks by a print lab, and then I sewed it myself in a double layer, with edge stitching so it will always keep its shape.
These colors look especially fabulous on people with darker skin tones, but of course anyone who loves fire and warm tones will enjoy it!
This scarf can be hand washed in cold water or dry-cleaned.
